Meet Our Optometrist

Dr. Gloria Wong

Dr. Gloria Wong was born and raised in Alberta. She attended the University of Alberta and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Honors Neuroscience. After accepting the Dean’s scholarship, she attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tennessee. Here she gained extensive clinical experience in various optometric specialities working with patients with advance ocular pathologies. She also had the opportunity to complete an externship with SouthEast Eye Specialist working alongside optometrist and ophthalmologist to provide top patient care to patients using the most advanced technology.

Dr. Wong enjoys working with patients of all ages and treats each patient like family! She is fluent in Cantonese with a basic understanding of mandarin. She is passionate about patient care and has a special interest in dry eye management and myopia control. Having dealt with increasingly poor eye sight as a child and now being the mother of two young children, Dr. Wong truly appreciates the struggles and importance of working with families to ensure we do our best to protect our vision. For Dr. Wong, helping patient gain and maintain clear vision while developing positive long standing relationships with families is undoubtedly the most rewarding part of her career. Dr. Wong enjoys spending most of her free time with her little ones exploring the great outdoors.
